(Both of us will be talking about it: Ankara will be the regular font and Alba will be the bold font)
When they announced they were giving a little gig in Spain, we couldn't contain our feels! And the tickets were being given away in a raffle!! Obviously we participated on it, hoping that the planets were correctly positioned and we were able to get some tickets.
Finally, on Monday, I received an email confirming that I had won one of the precious tickets...I couldn't do anything else than run (literally run, and I never run) though all the campus looking for Alba like a possessed fangirl.
However, Alba didn't receive her email that day, and I was decided to give my ticket to her because she was the one to really introduce me to their music.
But there was still hope, and there were some people who have won the tickets but couldn't go so they didn't confirm their attendance aaaaaand some of the people who were in the waiting list (like me) were sent the lucky email saying they have won tickets to see them! So the next day I received it and I couldn't believe it, I have never won anything in my life so this couldn't be happening!! but it was actually happening and I almost cried, I swear, because I had been waiting for so long to see them...and I was going to their acustic show for free!!!!
The awaited day arrived and after a 2h and a half journey, we arrived to Madrid, yay!! We arrived there at 11:00am and we were afraid that we would get one of the last tickets buuuuut we got the 493 and 494 of 750. We couldn't believe it! Where did all that luck came from?! They gave us some wristbands, beautifully decored with the name of the group, the date and the place (Madrid), that had the number they had previously given us to enter:
After that we headed to the nearest Starbucks (there were like 5 different ones in that area while in Valladolid there are none ¬.¬ ) and ordered two Chai Lattes (honestly, they were pretty amazing and good, you should try it).
We then took a strategic spot, to control the two entrances of the pub where the gig was going to take place.
A long time passed, taking selfies and escaning the rest of the fans like two gossiping grannies, when all of a sudden, a big black van appears; THEY WERE HERE!! They entered the pub, waving at the crowd and being gorgeous. Sadly, my stupid camera memory decided to be full in that exact moment so I didn't get any pics...But they were so happy, nice and smiling, waving to the fans that just awww.
Now I'll fast forward a little bit. After 9 hours waiting in a long long long queue we finally entered, and they gave us a guitar pick, A GUITAR PICK and a little pamphlet with photos and a poster! We were both dying at that moment already. We weren't expecting these gifts because, apart from Sweden, we didn't know they had given anytihng in other countries.
After taking a pretty decent place (sadly, we weren't able to see Ash because he was sitting and a damn girl with a banner blocked our view (I hated her so freaking much)), we prepared our cameras to record one of the best days in our lives, I was bouncing like a little schoolgirl! During the waiting, they put some amazing background songs like I Miss You by Blink 182, Good Charlotte, or Oh! Calamity by All Time Low (*High pitched scream*).
They finally appeared on stage and played Heartbreak Girl, Out of My Limit and Beside You where we showed them some signs that said: Real Bands Save Fans and Real Fans Save Bands. They really, really loved that detail, their smiles melted our hearts ♡ They even say they loved the signs with huge smiles on their faces, and that moment was incredible, both (them and the fans) share an incredible moment that none of us will forget.
This is one of the only decent photos of Ash T__T |

After each song they replied to some questions and tried to speak a little in Spanish, they were sooooo cute!!
The end was near and then Luke announced that they were playing one more song, She Looks So Perfect. All the crowd sang their lungs out with them and it was one of those moments that you never want to end. One of those moments that remind you why you love a band so much and why concerts are one of the most amazing experiences in life.
They sound so good live, all of them have such great voices, and the acustic (who doesn't love acustic because they are THE BEST THING IN THIS WORLD) was incredible. Fans singing along with them, they enjoyed the experience and looked so happy that it made us happy too!
When they finished the song, said goodbye to us and went out the local to wave at the fans that couldn't enter to the show, take photos of them and just make them happy. I think this is one of the things that defines them, they are so nice, thankful and dedicated to their fans, making what's in their hands to please them and that is just lovely and...I just love them.
I really wish we could repeat that day again and again, because it was truly one of the most amazing ones in our lives ♡
Ankara and Alba ♡
