Harry Potter and The Fangirl princess: THE MAZE RUNNER

"MEMORIZE. RUN. SURVIVE.
Welcome to the Glade. You’ll see that once a week, always the same day and same hour, we get supplies. Once a month, a new boy appears, like you. Always a boy. As you can see, this place is surrounded by stone walls…You have to know that these walls open in the morning and close at night, always at the same exact hour. On the other side, there’s the maze.

When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he's not alone. When the lift's doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade, a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.

Just like Thomas, the Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Glade.

Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up and she's the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. But more surprising yet is the message she delivers.

Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind."

Three days ago, I've started this trilogy and I'm a few pages away to end the third one. I just can't explain how much I've loved this books so far.

I have to admit I've had this books saved in my computer for at least a year, but they never caught my attention. However, after reading a lot of good reviews and finding out that the lovely and amazing Dylan O'Brien (♡) was going to be the main character in the film, I couldn't wait any longer.

From the start, you have no idea what is happening. As the summary says, Thomas only can remember his name and the rest of the Gladers refuse to give him any extra information about the Glade or the maze that surrounds it. Then, Teresa arrives with a note that says "She is the last one. Ever." and three words written in her arm "WICKED is good". After this, things get "shucked" (that's the word they use for cursing hahahaha): supplies stop arriving, the sun disappears and the grievers (some ugly mechanical monsters that run arround the maze) starts killing one boy per day. They have to find the exit as fast as possible and Thomas is the only one who can solve the maze.

The lack of information hooks you to the book, and doesn't let you leave it until you get answers. However, every time you get any explanation, another plot twist happens and you have to read and read and read. So thank you, James Dashner, I lacked study hours because of you. (no, please, I love you)

The book is so well written and planned. In the end every small detail makes sense leaving you with your jaw on the floor and your brain beggin you to start the next book.
I definitely recomend this trilogy, but beware, it will give you a book hangover, leaving you unable to read any other book for a week or so. To sum up:

The release day was 14th February, but sadly, they changed it and we'll have to wait till September to watch the film.

Have you read this book? What's your oppinion about it? Let me know in the coments below!!
